libdir-self-perl software package provides module providing a __DIR__ constant for the directory of the source file, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdir-self-perl
libdir-self-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdir-self-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdir-self-perl *
You will get with libdir-self-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
